Unlike
its predecessor, the Revolution Roadster, Big Red is more likely to
be seen smoking its tires than taking a casual cruise. Big Red is a
marvel of high performance and show quality. Along with the owner,
Mike Stevenson, Pugesek Motorsports set out to create a truly one of
a kind race car/street machine out of a 1962 Corvette.
Big Red features a 540 C.I.D. blown and
injected bow tie big block for extreme power. Rounding out the
racing style: 871 Supercharger, Turbo 400 transmission, custom built
stainless steel headers and exhaust, custom round tube chassis, C-4
front suspension, Mosier axles, Weld Racing wheels and Mickey
Thompson tires... the list goes on and on.
Show quality details can be seen on
every inch of this fierce beauty finished in Torch Red polyurethane paint. Once again, Pugesek
painstaking techniques for design and finish have created a real
show stopper. Other esthetic features include a hand fabricated
dash, Billet Specialties steering wheel, custom designed and
fabricated shifter console, Hurst
lightning rod shifters, and Stewart Warner gauges. Custom designed
grille and various other parts also give Big Red a serious edge.
